Kevin Trudeau’s 25 Secrets to Wealth Creation CD Review

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

Kevin Trudeau’s infomercial product Debt Cures: “They” Don’t Want You to Know About is a book which claims to help people buried in debt get out of their financial mess using specific tactics.  Inside the 310 page book, Kevin talks about the always relevant topic of personal debt and reveals things about how the credit card/banking industry work to make sure we’re in debt.  His book intends to give the reader enough information to create a debt-free lifestyle.  Kevin presents such topics as which “two magic words” you can use to correct your credit, how to cut your payments in half, and how to improve your credit almost overnight.  The basis is turning your bad debt into good credit, and eventually creating wealth through your financial health.

Along with “Debt Cures”, Kevin Trudeau included a special audio compact disc entitled “25 Secrets to Wealth Creation“.   On the recording, Kevin tries to shoot straight on what separates wealthy individuals from poor individuals.  He discusses everything from starting a business, the mindset to be wealthy and the techniques that successful people have used to become rich.  The audio recording is about an hour in total length and only features Kevin Trudeau speaking on the concepts that people have used over and over to become successful and in turn, very wealthy.  On the audio, Trudeau tells you exactly how to think, what to read, and which habits to form in order to pave your path towards riches.

Based on reading numerous other success, business, wealth and entrepreneurial books, it seems a lot of Mr. Trudeau’s information is just recycled from those classics with his modern and at times sarcastic spin on things.  For example, Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” discusses within its first few chapters that you need a specific, definitive aim to create forward-moving progress.  Numerous other books and Kevin’s audio CD basically repeat this concept to the reader or listener.  At one point, Kevin actually mentions Napoleon Hill and his most important concept “a definitive aim with a burning desire for its achievement”, which is the key to creating wealth.  Trudeau also talks about the popular “law of attraction” mentioned by Earl Nightingale and later in the bestseller “The Secret”.  Kevin continues to drive these points home ad nauseum, basically telling the listener what these books already say.

While this audio program by Kevin Trudeau presents helpful info, it’s up to you whether you want to hear it from him.  My best advice is that you find the Wealth Secrets compact disc at a discounted price if possible.  It might be a nice companion to have once you’ve read books like “Think and Grow Rich” or “The Secret” since Trudeau will repeat the concepts you read about.  Otherwise, it’s best to take the one tidbit of information that Trudeau gives: read books avidly (another repeated concept from success books).   Read the classics and even more up-to-date books about success and wealth creation.  Some good titles you might want to check out include the aforementioned “Think and Grow Rich”, as well as Napoleon Hill’s The Law of Success in 16 Lessons, “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Eker, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki, “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrnes, and The Success Principles by Jack Canfield.
